This is a really perfect place. I have moved around four times in the last year. So I 'm so happy that I can find a place quiet, without smoking, weed and noise neighbors.
So we’ve only lived here since March but overall it’s been a wonderful experience! I only have a couple of “complaints” if you could even call them that. Let’s start with the good, our leasing manager we dealt with was Ella, she was absolutely amazing! We are a military family and were moving from a different state on the opposite side of the country and she made the experience very easy, she was always available to answer any questions and concerns my family or I had, she was even so kind on the day we arrived to leave our keys in a Luxor box so we didn’t have to rush driving from AZ to get to the leasing office by close. The apartments themselves are lovely, beautiful flooring, stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, and a fireplace. The biggest bonus, no breed restrictions on pets, which compared to other apartments in the area is a huge selling point as many don’t allow large dogs over 50 pounds or don’t allow certain breeds. They also have several dog waste disposals around the complex which is convenient for easy disposable or if you forgot a doggy bag they always have them available. The area itself is in a great location, very quiet, everything within a 5-15 minute drive, and located right off the I-5 North or South. The maintenance team, especially Johnny, are wonderful, very quick to respond and resolve maintenance requests, even on weekends! Also the landscaping team here seems to take great pride in their work has the apartments foliage is always beautiful, trimmed, and mowed. On to the “bad”, my main issue is the parking situation here leaves a lot to be desired. While it’s wonderful you’re allowed one covered spot, if you’re like me and have a family car or large car such as a minivan, truck, or SUV, you’re more than likely not going to fit into your covered spot without making it impossible for the car next to you to access their car and vice versa. Also if you dont get in early enough you’re guaranteed parking outside the complex instead of in an uncovered spot inside the complex which can also be a tight fit. My other issue is the dog park, I love the fact that we have a dog park with a washing station for our pets within the complex but I dislike that it’s mostly gravel, everything else in the complex is grass except for that, it makes me wonder if it’s usable in the summer months when it gets warmer outside because I don’t want to burn my dogs paw pads and I’m sure many other residents don’t either. Overall though, this has been a wonderful place to live and definitely recommend these apartments
I was a tenant there for LESS than a year at this property and I could not be more disappointed with this community.
When I first started living there I was asked for a pet deposit, after I had provided the deposit, I read up online that if your dog is an ESA you shouldn't be charged for a pet deposit. I brought this up to Michael and he said he could give me the deposit back or we could wait until the end of the lease. I didn't think anything of it and said it was ok to hold it until the end of the lease.
When they provided the break down of the move out charges they were basically charging us more than what the deposit is worth and they were not giving me back the pet deposit. Know that when you move in here, you won't get your deposit back, so don't even worry about the cleaning at move out.
This is the first time a landlord keeps all of my deposit, very dishonest company.
We've found El Dorado Hills to be an exceptional place to live for the most part. The staff are responsive and kind (special shoutout to the maintenance team for their lightning-quick response times and high standards of quality), and the apartments themselves are well-appointed, with practical layouts, good modern appliances, and ample storage space. The shared outdoor space is well-kept, with beautiful gardens and many community ammenities. Though neighbor noise can be an issue (especially the barking dogs), the windows and walls of the appartments actually do an excellent job of filtering out most of the noise, and, if necessary, *politely* asking your neighbor to turn down the music seems to go a long way. Our biggest complaint so far is that parking can be a nightmare - the assigned spaces are narrow enough that getting in and out of one's car is nearly impossible, and from the damage we have seen on nearly all of our neighbors' cars, scrapes and bumps are a effectively a foregone conclusion. We wish the company would do something to try to address this problem.
Johnny deserves 6-stars. Opened three tickets and had an initial response within minutes. He came in and resolved all three issues explaining what was going on at every step. Professional! Great communication! Thank you, Johnny! (I hope I spelt that right).
Living here was a horrible experience. First of all, neighbors are really loud, every house has a dog and they start barking at the same time. All the walls are thin, and you can hear everything that your neighbors do. The leasing office is …
We loved working with Michael, our leasing agent! Everyone we spoke with (or emailed) was exceptionally professional and efficient. They answered any and all questions promptly and the resident portal system online worked smoothly - our …
The leasing team is a joke. They don’t have enough communication within each other and don’t even know the terms of the leases they’re offering. When we first moved in the leasing team specifically Michael and Carina was great. Now they’ve …
